As outlined in the agreement between the United States and Mexico that established the NADB, 10 percent of the bank’s capital is designated for community adjustment and investment projects in the two countries. Each country has independently developed a program within this framework to address its specific needs. Unlike other programs of the NADB, the community adjustment and investment programs are not limited to projects located within the border
region in each country.
