The project consists of the installation of drinking water and wastewater collection infrastructure in currently unserved areas of Tijuana and Playas de Rosarito. The project also includes the construction of two water storage tanks, one wastewater collector and two force mains, as well as the expansion of the Rosarito I WWTP. The proposed projects will also provide appropriate water distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment services to approximately 722,000 inhabitants. Approximately 131 lps (3 MGD) of wastewater generated in the project areas will receive treatment prior to be discharged into the Pacific Ocean.
