The proposed project consists of the design, construction and operation of an in-plant liquid sugar refinery with a production capacity of 80,000 metric tons/year (dry basis) of liquid sugar located in the municipality of Mexicali, Baja California.
The liquid sugar produced by the Project will be purchased by various companies in the food sector through purchase agreements. The Project will be implemented under the NADB COVID-19 Recovery Program.
