NADB and EPA funds support expansion of key infrastructure
The North American Development Bank (NADB) and the City of Presidio, Texas, signed a $3 million grant agreement. The grant is being provided through NADB’s Border Environment Infrastructure Fund (BEIF), which is funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and will go toward improvements to the city’s drinking water system.
The North American Development Bank (NADB) announced the conclusion of the first phase of a study for the rehabilitation of the wastewater collection system in the Arroyo del Coyote basin and the initiation of the second phase, which covers the entire wastewater system in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. The study is being funded by the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Project Development Assistance Program (PDAP) and administered by NADB. The program provided US$120,000 for Phase I and is providing an additional US$95,000 for Phase II.
