North American Development Bank ‘AA’ rating affirmed by Fitch with a stable outlook
San Antonio, Texas – Fitch Ratings affirmed the ‘AA’ rating of the North American Development Bank (NADB) with a stable outlook. In its analysis, Fitch assessed the Bank’s capitalization and liquidity levels as “excellent.” Other key factors included NADB’s strong risk management, very low equity risk and low counterparty loan concentration.
NADB and BECC merge
San Antonio, Texas – During its semi-annual meeting, the Board of Directors of the North American Development Bank (NADB) and the Border Environment Cooperation Commission (BECC) announced that, on November 10th, the amendments to the institutions’ Charter will enter into effect, integrating the BECC and the NADB into a single institution for the development and financing of sustainable environmental infrastructure in the U.S.-Mexico border region.
NADB signs US$5.26 million grant agreement to expand basic water and wastewater services in Nogales, Sonora
San Antonio, Texas – The North American Development Bank (NADB) and the water utility, Organismo Operador Municipal de Agua potable, Alcantarillado y Saneamiento (OOMAPAS), have signed a US$5.26 million grant agreement to help finance the expansion of the city’s water distribution and wastewater collection systems in residential subdivisions in the southwestern area of Nogales, Sonora.
